Our New Student Day is a great chance for you to learn more about the College, get to know your tutors and students on campus, and take part in an engaging taster sessions centred around your chosen course.
Enjoy mouth watering burgers, incredible desserts and ice cold drinks!
Take part in a range of fun activities, games and competitive sports!
A great chance to meet your future friends, classmates and tutors!
Try out the courses you're interested in before you start your journey at Accrington and Rossendale College!
On New Student Day you will have a range of delicious street food options for your lunch. Here is an example from last year’s menu for what you can expect.
Please ensure any intolerances, preferences and allergens have been communicated prior to your visit to college. This may have been communicated on registration but if missed please contact admissions@eastlancslearning.ac.uk.

All necessary materials will be provided on the day. You are welcome to bring a bag if you wish to take any items home with you.
We will be offering a selection of halal and vegetarian dishes on the day.
To make sure you get the most out of New Student Day, you are required to spend the full day at the college unaccompanied.
Parents and carers are welcome to drop off and pick up their children at the start and end of the day.
We understand that trying something new can be daunting.
If you feel anxious or uncomfortable at any point during the day, please don’t hesitate to approach any member of our staff. We’re here to help! 😊
There is no specific dress code; please wear whatever is comfortable and appropriate for a school or college environment.
If you’ve applied for technical courses but submitted more than one application, please choose the subject you want to experience the most.
Unfortunately, we only have one New Student Day over the summer.

Join us on GCSE Results Day, Thursday, 20th August!
Once you have your results, head down to our Ofsted Outstanding College to enrol on the perfect course for you.
We’ll provide your new college ID, information for your first day in September, and everything you need to start your dream career.
