OPEN TO ALL YEAR 10 AND YEAR 11 STUDENTS

Are you interested in architecture, surveying or construction and want to discover what it is like to work in the built environment industry? Our six-session Built Environment Academy provides a practical introduction to the sector, giving you the opportunity to explore modern technology, digital design and real-world construction and planning projects. You will develop valuable technical skills and gain an insight into the wide range of careers available within the built environment.

You will develop practical skills using modern surveying technology and digital design software, including REVIT. You will take part in activities linked to real construction and planning projects, helping you understand how buildings and developments are designed, planned and managed. You will also develop your problem-solving, technical and creative skills, giving you a strong introduction to potential careers in architecture, surveying and construction management.
