Course Overview

The digital world is growing fast, and cyber security professionals are needed more than ever. Our T Level in Cyber Security is your first step into this dynamic, future-proof sector.

You’ll explore how cyber threats are managed, how digital infrastructures are protected, and how businesses stay resilient.

Classroom learning is combined with real-world placement experience to give you a competitive edge. You’ll also have the chance to specialise in an area of cyber security that sparks your passion, from ethical hacking to network defence.

Supported by expert tutors, you’ll graduate with the skills and confidence employers are looking for from day one.

Course Overview

Think you’ve got what it takes to outsmart a hacker? The T Level in Cyber Security puts you right on the digital frontline, where you’ll learn how to protect data, systems, and people from the ever-growing threat of cyber crime. This is your chance to gain the skills that businesses, governments, and tech companies are desperate for.

In the Cyber Security pathway, you’ll train like a real cyber professional. Learn how to lock down networks, encrypt data, and spot weaknesses before criminals do. Get hands-on with ethical hacking and penetration testing, carry out risk assessments, and practice incident response—so when a cyber attack happens, you’ll know how to fight back and recover systems.

At the same time, the core modules give you the digital foundations every tech expert needs. You’ll cover programming, data analysis, digital environments, and cyber testing, plus explore future-shaping tech like AI, robotics, and virtual reality. You’ll also learn the business and legal side of tech—so you’ll know not just how to code securely, but why it matters.

One of the most exciting parts of the course is the industry placement. You’ll spend at least 45 days (315 hours) in a real company, working alongside professionals and applying your skills to genuine cyber challenges. It’s experience that will make you stand out straight away.

Equivalent to three A Levels, this T Level can launch you into higher apprenticeships, university degrees, or straight into careers like junior cyber security analyst, network technician, or ethical hacker.

If you’re ready to defend the digital world and take on the hackers, this is the course for you.
