Course Overview

Ever wondered what it is like inside a courtroom? Do you think you could argue a case, question witnesses or deliver a powerful verdict? Join our Mock Trials Academy and experience the legal system in action. You will work as part of a team to take part in a realistic mock court case, based on real-life scenarios. This interactive academy will give you an insight into the roles and responsibilities within the legal profession, while helping you develop valuable skills such as communication, teamwork, confidence and critical thinking.

Course Overview

During the academy, you will explore how the courtroom works and gain an understanding of the different roles involved in a legal case. You will have the opportunity to prepare and present arguments, question witnesses and consider evidence before reaching a verdict. Through the mock trial, you will develop your confidence, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills, while gaining a realistic insight into what it could be like to pursue a career in law or the wider legal profession.
